Business terms and conditions of use of Palác Flóra Customer Loyalty/Gift cards

By purchasing a Customer gift card or registering this card in Palác Flóra Customer Loyalty Programme, the purchaser agrees to the following terms and conditions of use of the Customer Loyalty/Gift Card.

Customer Loyalty/Gift Card has two functions – you may use both of them or just the one you need.

1. Card registration.
Without registering you may only use the card as a gift card. The Customer Gift Card feature is immediately active; the Customer Loyalty Card feature becomes active once you have registered the card in the Customer Loyalty Programme. You only need to register the card to use its Customer Loyalty feature – either online on www.palacflora.cz or by leaving a filled in registration form in one of the collecting boxes in Palác Flóra. Apart from receiving the card as a gift, you can also receive it in one of the participating stores if you make a purchase exceeding CZK 500. You can also ask for the card if you present several receipts for the total of CZK 500 or more at Palác Flóra reception desk.

2. How to use the card as a Customer Gift Card?
You may ask for the card in the participating stores at Palác Flóra or at the reception desk on the 3rd floor. The minimum amount to charge the card with is CZK 500; the maximum amount is CZK 20,000. If you require the card to be charged with a greater sum, you will need to come to the management office at Palác Flóra on the 4th floor personally. The card and the gift envelope are free of charge.

3. How to use the Customer Loyalty Card feature?
When making a purchase of CZK 90 or more in one of the participating stores at Palác Flóra, the shop assistants will add a percentage of the total price of your purchase to your Customer Loyalty account, this percentage is equal to the percentage of discount these stores offer to the card holders. No additional discounts or special offers may be combined with this Loyalty Programme.

4. How to use the card to pay for your purchases?
The total balance of your card account is equal to the sum of the Customer Gift and Customer Loyalty accounts. You may use the card to pay either the full price or part of the price of the goods or services offered by the participating stores at Palác Flóra; you will also find a list of these shops on www.palacflora.cz. The price of your purchase will be deducted from the card’s balance, at first from the Customer Gift account and then from the Customer Loyalty account. You may not use the card to buy additional Customer Gift Cards.

5. How to check your card balance?
Your card balance is printed on every receipt you receive for any transaction made with your card. To check the individual balances on your Customer Gift and Customer Loyalty accounts as well as the ten latest transactions, go to www.palacflora.cz. You may not exchange the card balance for cash however.

6. Card’s validity.
If you do not use the card for a period of 36 months or more (since the last transaction), the balance will be forfeited to the card issuer and the card’s validity will be automatically terminated.

7. The card issuer is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged cards and the account balances connected to such cards.
The card holder is obliged to protect their card against theft or physical damage. A card whose Customer Gift feature is active may only be reissued in case of physical damage after presenting the damaged card at the reception desk of Palác Flóra on the 3rd floor. A card registered for the Customer Loyalty Programme may be reissued in case it is lost, stolen or physically damaged. To block a card temporarily or to unblock please contact the reception desk at Palác Flóra on the 3rd floor – either personally or by telephone: +420-255-741-712. If you need a new card issued, you will need to come personally to the management office of Palác Flóra on the 4th floor within 2 working days of the card’s blocking. If you fail to do so, the card will be unblocked automatically. Blocking, unblocking and issuing of new cards are free of charge and will be completed within 24 hours. You may issue a complaint about a wrong transaction, wrong balance on your account or other problems relating to your card at the reception desk of Palác Flóra on the 3rd floor or on +420-255-741-712 (within 24 hours of receiving the receipt in question; or in case that you have been unable to realize the reason of your complaint from the receipt alone, within 24 hours of realizing it). Your complaint will be dealt with within 2 working days. A vendor is entitled to refuse the card in case that s/he has doubts about its validity or in case the card is blocked or damaged.

8. This is neither a debit, credit, nor other bank card.
This card is to be used only by its rightful owner and unless a written agreement is presented, may not be used for commercial purposes.

9. No persons or subjects other than the card issuer and the authorized subjects are allowed to sell the card.
The cards may be used as personal or business gifts but they may not be used for marketing, advertising or promotional activities without a previous written agreement of the card issuer.

10. The card issuer may change these Terms and Conditions of use of the Gift and Customer Loyalty Cards.
All changes become valid as of the moment of their publication on www.palacflora.cz. The mutual rights and obligations of the card issuer and holder are subject to the Czech law.

11. Compliance with the model business terms and conditions designed by the Czech National Bank.
These business terms and conditions are in compliance with the Model business terms and conditions for issuing and use of electronic means of payment designed by the Czech National Bank, except for the following differences: a) all potential changes of these terms and conditions will be published online on www.palacflora.cz and will become effective as of the date of their publication there, b) change of the Terms and Conditions may not be taken as a reason to repudiate the agreement for use of the Customer Gift and Customer Loyalty Cards.

12. The Palác Flóra Customer Loyalty/Gift Card is collectively issued by the owners of the stores which accept this cord (co-issuers).
An up-to-date list of the participating stores is available on www.palacflora.cz and you may ask to see it in any of the participating stores in Palác Flóra. Palác Flóra provides the services necessary for the issuing of these Customer Loyalty/Gift Cards. As a provider of these services, Palác Flóra accepts the monetary means for charging the Customer Loyalty/Gift Cards, operates the card system for all co-issuers, and on behalf of all the co-issuers, distributes the accepted monetary means between the individual co-issuers according to the proportion of purchases by the clients from the respective co-issuer in which the Customer Loyalty/Gift Cards were used. Palác Flóra accepts the monetary means on the accounts connected to the Customer Loyalty Cards only on behalf of the store/s in which the Card has been used to purchase goods or services and no other stores.
